Let’s talk about love, relationships and marriage.
I did not just “find” my man.
I had to become the woman ready to meet him.
Self-alignment was key.
I had to dissolve the inner barriers I was holding including shame, guilt and stubbornness.
Let go of all the judgments I had about my previous stories, and the comparisons with other people.
I had to become radically clear about what I wanted to experience and share.
I opened my mind and heart to a new way of being in relationship.
I chose to open myself to receiving more which means I had nothing to prove or demonstrate. I could just be present, and open, and receive.
That choice changed everything.
Marriage, for me, is not a destination.
It is a sacred daily practice. A practice of leadership, truthfulness, radical honesty and humility, it is not always comfortable or easy,
but immensely growthful and fulfilling.
And I am deeply grateful for the man who meets me there.
Every. Single. Day.
Eric is the love of my life.
And the most unexpected blessing.
I met him and married him at 48.
And I choose him again, every day.
So if you’re still holding onto beliefs like:
“All the good ones are taken.”
“Love is for others, not for me.”
“I’ve looked everywhere, and it never works.”
Please know that none of that has to be true.
What if love is already on its way to meet the version of you who’s finally ready?
Ready to be real, and receive.
Ready to love without hiding.
What do you believe about love today?
And is that belief still serving you?
Write to me.
